1.  ANTI-WAR PROTESTORS' DAY IN COURT - COME TO THE SUPPORT RALLY:
Thursday, March 1, 9:30 AM.
Please come out and support the three protestors who were arrested on Feb.
21 at Rep. Virgil Goode's Charlottesville office.  The Charlottsville
General Circuit Court will hear the case of Susan Frankel-Streit, Shelly
Stern, and Jeff Winder on Thursday, March 1.
THE RALLY WILL BE HELD OUTSIDE THE COURT AT 9:30 AM, 606 Market St.  Court
session begins at 10:00 AM.
The three were arrested at Rep. Virgil Goode's office on Wed. Feb. 21. They
are charged with criminal trespass as they remained after hours to demand
Goode's signature to pledge not to support more funds for warmaking in Iraq.
The protestors join hundreds of others around the country who are taking
part in the "Occupation Project" initiated by Voices for Creative

2.  JOIN A RALLY AGAINST THE WAR WITH CODEPINK at GOODE'S OFFICE
Date:  Wednesday, February 28
Time:  3:00 - 5:00 pm
Place:  Inside/outside Goode's office
Say no more funding for the war in Iraq.  Please join us for this rally at
Rep. Virgil Goode's office (across from Gravity Lounge on the Downtown
Mall).  Goode has not signed on to the pledge requesting that he not support
the $93 billion dollars Bush is asking for war in and occupation of Iraq.
Street theater and stilters from the Little Flower Catholic Worker Farm will
be there.  Join us in expressing our dissent.  We will have a continuing
Wednesday presence.  On Wed. March 7 the Interfaith Litany will be outside
Goode's office, and on Wed. March 14, Food Not Bombs will hold a rally
outside Goode's office.
