There will be no anti-war demonstration on Thanksgiving Day, November 
27. Demonstrations will resume on Thursday, December 4.

*Come to Monthly CCPJ Meeting*

WHEN: Sunday, November 30, 2008 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

WHERE: Friends Meeting House, 1104 Forest Street, Charlottesville

Please join us for our monthly meeting. Find out what's going on in the 
area of peace and justice, offer your ideas, and participate in events 
and actions. Everyone is welcome.

Pre-meeting potluck at 5:45. Nourish yourself with good food and 
conversation.

*CCPJ Says No War Toys*

You can join CCPJ's annual campaign against the purchase and giving of 
war toys, in several ways this year:

(A) *Join our demonstration at Wal-Mart!*

WHEN: Saturday, December 6, 2008 1:00 -- 3:00 pm

WHERE: Wal-Mart in Charlottesville.

If you would like a ride or to carpool out there, we will meet at the 
Albemarle County Office Building at 12 noon, corner of McIntire and 
Preston. Meet at the door adjacent to the parking lot. Signs will be 
provided.

(B) *Write a letter to the editor!*

We urge all supporters to write letters to the editor at the Daily Progress.
