Dear allies,   DRUM writes to you today to ask for your organization's 
endorsement of
the New York Coalition for Immigrants Rights to Drivers Licenses  March
to Stop the Suspensions of Drivers Licenses in Queens on Saturday March
5th at 12:00 PM in Jackson Heights.

As you already know, the NYS DMV is
threatening to suspend the drivers licenses of almost 300,000
immigrants.  Several immigrants rights groups in Queens have come
together to demand our rights to fair DMV policy, including halting
collaboration with the Department of Homeland Security to enforce
immigration law.  The march is being organized by:  New York Civic
Participation Project, Centro Hispano Cuzcatlan, DRUM, YKASEC, NYIC, and
New York Taxi Workers Alliance, among others.

JOIN US by endorsing the march, by signing and FAXING the attached
endorsement form on behalf of your organization.  The endorsement should
be faxed to Zahida Parini at 212 388 3210  AS SOON AS POSSIBLE :  BY THE
END OF THE DAY TODAY (tuesday feb 15th), tomorrow morning at the latest
so we can get our posters to the printers.
