featuring excerpts from: Breathless: A Toxic News flash ,
about NYC garbage incinerators & their health threat to people and the
environment. 
& Play for Keeps: the struggle to save NYC community gardens,
which documents the story of Esperanza garden and highlights the importance
of public green spaces.
& other surprises

Bridges

A screening series to bring together the community through video and art.
Bridges is a collaboration between Paper Tiger TV and community groups
throughout New York City.
Videos are showcased dealing with a range of issues from militarism,
immigrant identity and environmental justice.  This series aims to bring
together various community groups for dialogue and bridge building.
Screenings will be outside in parks or community gardens with refreshments.

Paper Tiger TV is a non-profit volunteer collective that has been pioneering
media criticism though video since 1981. The diverse series of over 280
programs addresses issues democratic communications, media  representation
and the economics of the information industry. The tapes are broadcast in
NYC and across the U.S. The tapes are also  distributed by Paper Tiger to
universities, libraries, and media art centers worldwide. This program is
supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of
Cultural Affairs, The New York State Council on the Arts and The North Star
Fund.
