Dear All, <div>I've been working on the JPEG redaction and have cleaned up what I had, got it working for writing EXIF (but not with proprietary Makernotes). As I suggested before I made a separate github component for it:</div>
<div><br><a href="https://github.com/asenior/Jpeg-Redaction-Library">https://github.com/asenior/Jpeg-Redaction-Library</a><div>It's got the beginnings of an API- the Jpeg class:</div></div><blockquote class="webkit-indent-blockquote" style="margin: 0 0 0 40px; border: none; padding: 0px;">
<div><div>loads a file into memory, </div></div><div><div>applies redaction in a set of rectangular regions;</div></div><div><div>and writes to disk.</div></div></blockquote><div><div>There are some unit tests/example code in the test directory.</div>
<div><br></div><div>It currently depends on STL which I think might be a problem for Android? </div><div>Things it still needs to do: </div></div><blockquote class="webkit-indent-blockquote" style="margin: 0 0 0 40px; border: none; padding: 0px;">
<div><div>return the redacted information,</div><div>Restore an image when provided with the redacted information </div></div><div><div>Delete all EXIF data</div></div><div><div>Delete (Modify) Individual EXIF data.</div>
</div></blockquote><div><div><br></div><div>It would be good to get a status update from the rest of the group or be able to dial into tomorrow's meeting. </div><div><br></div><div>Andrew</div><div><br><div class="gmail_quote">
