SCPA-ER -- Support Center for Prison Advocacy's Emergency Response List

About SCPA-ER

United around the slogan 'Community Organizing is a Reentry Program,' the Support Center for Prison Advocacy (SCPA) was founded to build the leadership of people who are formerly imprisoned and their families in organizing their own neighborhood communities. With Neighborhood Networks already underway in North, South and West Philadelphia, the SCPA aims to create a city-wide resource center without walls.

The SCPA is organized in partnership with: Community Legal Services; DBH/MRS Faith-Based Initiative; Education Not Incarceration; EXIT-US, Inc; Hearts on a Wire; Hosanna Christian Life Center; Kingdom Care Reentry Network; Institute for the Study of Civic Values; Joshua Achievement Center; MOMobile, Maternity Care Coalition; Office of Addiction Services; Pennsylvania Institutional Law Project; Pennsylvania Prison Society; Philadelphia FIGHT; Philadelphia Prison System; Philadelphia Region Positive Women's Network; Philadelphia Recovery Community Center; Reaching Out: A Support Group with Action; Reconstruction, Inc.; The Time is Now To Make A Change; X-Offenders for Community Empowerment; and Youth Art & Self-empowerment Project

Through this list, we unite organizations working on various pieces of prison-based services or reentry to assist with referrals and strategizing, so that the people who come through our doors do not fall through the cracks.
