Not sure if anyone cares, but I'm the author of asmack and I'm currently working on the "next" iteration of the system.

What's included?

I did not look into OtR yet (not even into verifying the tls certs) and would highly appreciate input.

I'm just switching to that as my main client for testing/eat-your-own-dogfood.
