If I recall correctly, Pidgin had a functionality where you could
specify the server directly. This would allow the users to avoid
performing an SRV lookup. In fact, I just installed Pidgin, it is under
the Advanced tab. Would this be a way to resolve the need for SRV
lookups eliminating the privacy leak?
