Thanks for bringing that up.  I wasn't aware that the IMEI and MACs were included in getprop. It seems that it not always the case, since only one of the devices I posted included a MAC and none included an IMEI.

So yes, people should review it for identifying information like MAC and IMEI numbers.  You can look for property titles like:

gsm.imei
ril.imei
ro.gsm.imei
ril.bt_macaddr
ril.wifi_macaddr

I updated the instructions on the wiki page.
