In case you haven't been following our blog posts about the Bazaar project:
https://guardianproject.info/tag/bazaar/

We now have a demo app Kerplapp that makes your device into an app store for
other devices to install apps from. It is based on FDroid, so you need FDroid
to browse and install apps, and Kerplapp to set up the app store. To try this
with your devices, install our builds of FDroid and Kerplapp:

https://guardianproject.info/builds/F-Droid/
https://guardianproject.info/builds/Kerplapp/

Start up Kerplapp on one device, setup your own app "repo" (repository), then
turn on the webserver with a click of the button. With another device,
install FDroid on it, then scan the QRCode on Kerplapp. It will automatically
add that devices as an app repo on the device that scanned the QR Code.
Update the app lists from the FDroid menu, and you will now see the apps
hosted by Kerplapp in your app listing. To make it more obvious, you can
change to the Kerplapp category in the FDroid main screen (i.e. click on
What's New).

We're working on getting all this integrated into FDroid, so ultimately we
hope that you'll be able to do full-featured app swapping using FDroid!
