What version of Android are you on? Some flavors enforce bad cipher suites even if you try to override.

They are the same app, but the name changed after the v11 release. So by 13.0.6 there have been many fixes, including the PRNG bug fix, and improvement in OTR and XMPP session handling. I will get back to your other email shortly, as well.
