Well, the simplest solution is to download and use the Tor Browser!

The only real benefit of Tor hardware/dedicated boxes like these is
that you aren't supposed to have to do *anything*. However, as
devrandom points out, if a user doesn't understand the ground rules of
using something like Tor, they are likely to leak both identity/IP
(flash, java applets) and actual content data (not using HTTP).

This is also definitely a problem on Android, because apps can log
plenty of detailed information about the device (IP, phone number,
google accounts), whether or not they are running through Tor.

Some of the work being done to provide fake information to apps is
really necessary if we want to claim true anonymity end-to-end, and
not just defense against traffic surveillance filtering.
