Speaking for K-9, I belive the issue is more about not wanting to
support one-off APIs designed for specific non-opensource projects. We'd
much rather have a reusable cryptoprovider API. I suspect that we could
be talked into a one-off cryptoprovider for the guardian project's gpg
port, if that's what you're pondering.
