Could anybody here lend us some advice, e.g. what software is good for capturing the video and sending it out? Is anybody planning to attend who might have a camera suitable for this? Is a laptop camera good enough? (I suspect not so much) Do we need lighting equipment, too?

Hi Billy,

If it causes too much headache (and I'm the only one interested) then please don't go to any major trouble.

Saying that, regarding video, I guess there are a few free options:

1. Stream to UStream or Bambuser?
2. Google hangout? (But I don't know if thats gonna work...)
3. Stream to Youtube? If your account allows it yada yada....[1]

Regarding cameras, I can't suggest any low-cost high quality options. My guerilla DIY solution would be to record it on something like a Canon G11 and then upload the raw video to Youtube afterwards.

We can make do with whatever the quality would be.

But like I said, please don't go to any extremes just for me!

Thanks again,
Bernard
