i will follow up with the half dozen i personally use; driver and
device ids.  use native or custom busybox and ifconfig hw ether in
script or via macchanger support. the interface must usually be down
to change MAC; busybox ifconfig wifi0 down; busybox ifconfig wifi0 hw
ether 00:11:22:33:44:55; ifconfig wifi0 up ...; all you need is shell
and OUI.txt list to pick a known vendor prefix, or you can get fancy
with macchanger daemons, a dozen ways to solve it.

a mobile MAC change compatibility list by kernel and hardware device /
chipset would be immensely useful! i am not aware of such a thing. if
you start or find one, i would be happy to contribute details there
directly.
