"crowd control devices", like tear gas, which is sold domestically and
shipped to countries like Egypt so countries can gas their own citizens.
When a recent shipment of seven and a half tons of tear gas arrived in the
Egyptian port of Suez last week, workers realized what it was and refused

*Event Highlight: * The Occupy Boston Health And Safety Improvement
Festival! Please come join us at 12:00pm in order to celebrate Health and
Safety. Occupy Boston is celebrating the arrival of a fireproof, winterized
tent for the purpose of increasing the health, safety, and comfort of
Occupy Boston residents. We hope to see all concerned or supportive
individuals and City Officials join us in a productive conversation to
ensure the health and safety of the public. We will provide refreshments
and live music!

*Volunteer Opportunities:*

*Safety.* Needs more people to join! Come to the Safety Working Group
meeting at 6:30pm in the Library to see how you can help.

*The Boston Occupier.* Needs people to help distribute its second
edition. Volunteers should meet at the media tent at 4 pm; we'll hand out
papers at T stations all over the city during the evening commute.

*The Info Tent.* Would like a few good volunteers to help staff the tent;
which means greeting visitors and answering questions. Please e-mail
