*Good Morning from Occupy Boston! *

*Fact of the Day. *While 100 million Americans are at or near the poverty
level and Congress debates whether it can afford an extension of
unemployment benefits and other crucial lifelines for working Americans, a
new report estimates that U.S. corporations are sitting on $3.6 trillion in
cash reserves<http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/12/06/corporate-america-is-sitting-on-the-solution-to-the-jobs-crisis_n_1132445.html>
.

*News from Occupy Boston. *Judge Frances McIntyre has denied an Occupy
Boston request for a preliminary
injunction<http://www.boston.com/Boston/metrodesk/2011/12/judge-rules-against-occupy-boston-protesters-clearing-way-for-eviction-mayor-menino-urges-them-leave/yERGTB7e9p2U8V2IQbOqrO/index.html?p1=News_links>
and lifted the temporary restraining order preventing the Occupation from
being shut down. Note: This does not mean eviction is imminent, but the
restraining order no longer applies.

*News from other Occupies.* Motivated by the national Occupy movement, the
L.A City Council unanimously voted for a
resolution<http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/12/06/los-angeles-votes-to-end-to-corporate-personhood/>to
support local and national legislation ending corporate personhood,
including support for a constitutional amendment.

*Occupy Protest Resources.* The ACLU of Massachusetts has put together a list
of resources <http://aclum.org/occupy_resources> for protesters at Dewey
Square. Know your rights, information is power. Also, to get on Occupy

*“Missing from history are the countless small actions of unknown people
that led up to those great moments. When we understand this, we can see
that the tiniest acts of protest in which we engage may become the
invisible roots of social change.” Howard Zinn*

sunny this afternoon. Breezy with highs in the mid 40s. West winds 15 to 25
