*Good Morning from Occupy Boston!*
*
*
*
*
*Fact of the Day:* The federal government's incoming tax revenue as
percentage of GDP is the lowest it has been since
1950<http://www.americanprogress.org/issues/2011/06/pdf/low_tax_graphs.pdf>
.
*Occupy Boston News:* Occupy Boston's General Assembly recently passed a
proposal<http://www.occupyboston.org/2011/11/12/occupy-boston-takes-stand-predatory-lending-illegal-foreclosures/>
against predatory lending and illegal foreclosures. Next comes turning
those stances into action. Contact
Outreach<http://wiki.occupyboston.org/wiki/Outreach>
to hear about upcoming anti-foreclosure actions
*News from other Occupations:* During President Obama's recent visit to
Hawaii, the background music for one evening's dinner had a bit of an
occupation
theme<http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/11/13/hawaiian-singer-surprises-obama-summit-with-occupy-song/>
.
*Occupy Boston - Monday, November 14th, 2011*
*Today's Weather and Events*: Mostly cloudy. Not as cool with lows in the
lower 50s. Southwest winds around 15 mph. Check out our Calendar of
Events<http://www.occupyboston.org/calendar/> for

*Highlights: *The Climate Action, Sustainability and Environmental Justice
Working Group is having its first meeting tomorrow at 6:00pm, meeting is at
South Station Mezzanine.
*Volunteer Opportunities:*
- The Info Tent is doing a Volunteer Training tonight at 6:00pm.
Volunteering at the Info Tent is a great way to get acclimated into Occupy
Boston and a very rewarding way to connect with people both in and outside
the Occupation. We will be meeting at the Info Tent at 6:00pm, all are
welcome
-
- Want to help Occupy Boston, but can't make it down? Help with Food
<occupyboston.food at gmail.com>by
calling local restaurants in Boston and asking them to donate!
-
*Other Working Groups* seeking volunteers include Media, Legal, Food,
Outreach, Info Tent, Winterization, Logistics, Library and many, many
more. Click
here <http://www.occupyboston.org/working-groups/> for a full list of
Working Groups and their contact information. See where you think your
strengths lay and where you can be most effective. We are looking for
support both on and off-site, so even if you can't come down there is
something to do!
*Donate!*
If you are able to, we are still looking for both
material<http://www.occupyboston.org/get-involved/logistics/>
and financial <http://www.occupyboston.org/get-involved/donations/> support.
