an economics professor at the University of Michigan, showed that the
difference in college-graduation rates between the rich and poor has
widened by more than 50 percent since the 1990s.
*News from Occupy Boston:* A group of Occupiers yesterday traveled to

to
join Native Americans in observing the National Day of Mourning.
*News from other Occupations:* Occupy Seattle is amongst other Washington
areas Occupations using today’s attention to mass shopping in order to Occupy
local area Wal-Marts<http://occupywallst.org/article/occupy-seattle-occupies-wal-mart/>,
calling attention to mistreatment of workers, union busting and
other grievances by the mega-giant retail store.

*Event Highlight:* Come join the InterOccupy Working Group for a meeting
tonight at 7:00pm (Meet at Gandhi Statue.) The purpose of this working
group is to expedite connectivity between Occupy Boston and other
occupations, in the US and worldwide.

*Volunteer Opportunities:*
*Facilitation* is always looking for volunteers. Come learn how to
facilitate Working Group meetings and General Assemblies, which everyone at
Occupy Boston should do. Come to today’s meeting at 5:00pm at Federal
Reserve Plaza, where we will then likely move to South Station.
*Info Tent* is a great way to get acclimated into Occupy Boston; great
visitors to the Occupation and answer helpful questions to Occupiers and
outsiders alike. E-mail InfoTent at OccupyBoston.org to see how to get
involved.
*Volunteer Reception* is back! Occupy Boston will be holding a forum for
volunteers this Sunday at 12:00pm. Meet at the main plaza.
