New Year, New House

Daria - During the fight over the Affordable Care Act, single payer
supporters *were not allowed to even speak* during Congressional hearings.
Healthcare-NOW and allies sat in to demand that single payer be put on the
table; 8 were arrested during the Obamacare hearings for daring to ask for
healthcare justice. After years of being shut out of healthcare reform, *our
legislation will finally get hearings this year* in several committees!



*Join us at a barnstorm* during the national Week of Action - *Feb.
9th-13th* - and let's get started on the next phase of our strategy to win
Medicare for All: making sure the new Democratic House is going to fight
for single payer!

At our local barnstorms in Massachusetts, we'll be organizing specifically
around getting* Reps. Joe Kennedy, Richard Neal, and Stephen Lynch* on the
House single payer bill.
