At about 11:30 am New York time, May First/People Link's primary DNS server
went offline.

Because we operate a second, redundant DNS server, there are no service
interruptions and all services should be working without problems.

We expect to have the primary server online within the next 24 to 72 hours.

The DNS, or Domain Name Server, translates domain names (like mayfirst.org)
into the IP addresses that computers use when browsing the web, sending email
or just about every activity we do on the Internet.

To maximize denial of service protection, this server is hosted off-site. The
organization managing this server reported that the cause was a power issue
that destroyed the power units on all machines in the affected cabinet.

May/Enlace Popular fue off-line.

Porque  operamos un segundo, redundandos servidor DNS, hay ninguno

Para proteger contra DDOS, este servidor es hosted fuera-sitio. La organización
que dirige este servidor informó que la causa era un poder  emite aquello
destruyó las unidades de poder encima todas las  máquinas en el gabinete
afectado.
