Join Agaric for Show and Tell Wednesday August 29th from 11am - 11:30am ET (New York)

We open the meeting with short introductions, choosing a note taker and then, we will have a short presentation on GIT and version control. Do you use GIT or another version control system? We will discuss the differences between GitLab and GitHub and how getting your team to use GIT can save you from many hours of meetings and emails discussing a project.

1. Why use GIT
2. Differences between GitLab and GitHub
3. Sharing work around the world

Any GIT users are welcome to present the ways GIT has helped them become a world class dev team and has connected them to developers around the globe.

After the presentation, I would like to discuss the future of our development work. What new technologies should we be learning or at least looking at. How will AI intersect with your code? Is there a cutting edge anymore or are things moving too quickly? Is it better to choose a niche and become an expert or specialist, or better to be a generalist and keep up with current tech used by large numbers of people?
