Hi Harlo,

I had success following the steps outlined here:
http://opencv.willowgarage.com/wiki/Android

The person who did the Android port is working on a version that uses the latest NDK.  That should make the process easier down the road.

I just started a page on our wiki so we can keep track of our efforts/progress:
