Hi Harlo,
The wireframes look good. Thanks for putting them up! This will give us quite a bit to talk about on Tuesday during our meeting.
I like the idea of setting some defaults on first launch of the app. I am wonder if we should force that or if we should offer that option and if they don't go through the step, we use the default defaults.
Thanks for reminding us all that we will want to obscure more than just faces. When we move into video, we will definitely need to define and then track blobs throughout all of the frames. This seems like a good workflow to set that up.
Looking forward to going over it in person.
Best,
shawn

I've pushed my changes to include my wireframe ("wireframes_harlo") as well as the Android-specific template for Balsamiq (although it's not that great...)

First off, the user should have default settings for how images (and eventually video) should be treated: how much exif data (and which fields) will be embedded into the image, what default media permissions regarding the image's subject can we assume? The user should be prompted to make these choices upon their first use of the app, and can modify at any time through the menu.

I think it would be kind of rad if the user could then chose whether the app would blur out whatever is inside of the chosen coordinates (snap) or regard the coordinates as an ROI for blob detection (follow). This might be handy for 2 reasons: First, the face detection module is really powerful, but we want our users to have the option to obscure anything within the image. And second, if a user has a steady shot and could just pick out regions of the image to obscure, it would be a lot less processor intensive if the app is not always performing blob detection.
