[Ssc-dev] Using Facial Recognition Technology to Chose Which Bar to go to

A startup called SceneTap got written up today that is partnering with
bars and other nightlife establishments to set up what amounts to
security/surveillance cameras - all in the name of knowing and reporting
"what the scene is like." It boggles the mind that this type of
intrusive technology would really be needed for this simple kind of
data. One could easily think of a number of simpler ways to gather the
same info (e.g. just have the bouncer update an app!).
