[Ssc-dev] SSC Update & Status Reports please!

Sadly, I have had some personal issues as well, not the least of which has been a lingering sinus infection (1.5+ weeks now).

I am in serious hunker down mode on a few things and hope to have more to share next week.   

With regards to the NOT DONE item in the video prototype, I was under the impression that it would be a better use of time to work on the next version rather than try to jam face detection into that proof of concept.  If I am wrong, let me know and I'll do it.
