Maybe write a specific handler for this evo behavior?

So far I think we've only found this on Evo
As I recall (details are in previous threads) the redacted image is placed in DCIM/Camera/<13digits>.jpg
and the unredacted one is placed in DCIM/images/IMG_<sequencenumber>.jpg

I have been trying to make headway on this problem, but I can't grasp it, mostly because I can't replicate it. So far, I tried implementing Android's FileObserver on the DCIM folder (and subfolders) as a background-running service to see if we're able to tell when the image is saved into any of those folders, which has not been successful in alerting me when a file has been created or modified by the app. But, I keep trying...
On your device, how is the duplicate image named? (Is the filename identical to the one saved by Obscura?)
Thanks,
Harlo

I love the new UI appearance.
I get the same old EVO bug - one redacted and one unredacted version saved when I say delete original.
I think this was the 13_46 build from yesterday.

Can everyone test the latest build from 10-24 (today), once it is up in
this folder? (or build from source yourself)

I think I have all the issues nailed, and have tested on Nexus One
(2.3.4) and Samsung Galaxy Player (2.2.2).
The "identify" code is in and working (you can see the data using
ExifDroid app from the market or on your desktop), but we don't have any
visual indicator at this point that the identify happened.
Harlo - please go through and make any changes you need, post merge. For
instance, the preview/identify visual indicator was lost b/c that was
based on the old regions/layout code.
I would like to ship an RC out to guardian-dev/-alphas tonight.
