[Ssc-dev] another use case for ssc

I found this in my search for techniques for obscuring voices while
leaving them intelligeble. I thought this was a good use case for SSC:

Do you ask your research subjects about drug use, sexual behavior, or
illegal activity? What about exposure to violence, psychiatric
history, or other private topics?

Many social science research projects involve the collection of
stigmatizing information. We protect subjects by avoiding the
collection of identifying information such as names or dates of birth.
Unfortunately, voice recordings, which are essential to qualitative
and other social science research, constitute identifying information
in and of themselves. The reason is that voices can be recognized.

The Anonymous Voice Recorder applies a masking algorithm to a sound
file during recording so that voices cannot be recognized. At the same
time it maintains the clarity of the recording for later transcribing.
