InformaCam has a whitelist of packages that are indeed cameras (i.e.
com.google.android.camera) and will only launch those. I'm guessing that
this new device has a different camera package, so InformaCam has no
knowledge of it. When everyone got nexus 4s, this was the case, and I
updated the whitelist accordingly. I don't have a nexus 5 to test this
theory out on, though.
