Send Credentials is a feature we had in the old interface, that is
needed mostly for people NOT using Secure Share / Trusted Destination.
Like the Share ID feature, it allows you to directly email, post or
otherwise share the OpenPGP public key we generate in the app, along
with the "six boring photos" we capture at setup. This is the same set
of data that is auto-uploaded to the server after you register. This
option just allows a manual send of it to anyone you choose.
The reason this is needed is that a) if for some reason the auto-upload
doesn't work, you can manually send it, and b) if you want someone else
besides the install trusted destination to be able to verify the
signature of the J3M data, or be able to verify the base photos against
future submitted photos, this gives them access to the required data.
Again, an advanced feature for sure, but something we need, mostly for
our default InformaCam app.
