[Ssc-dev] Merging the new UI

[Nathan of Guardian]

Mikael's new UI branch merged with Harlo's latest work on the master
InformaApp branch without much fuss. There are a few bugs and
regressions of things that I thought were fixed, but all together it
seems to be functioning.

I am going to ahead and commit the merge, so we can all be on the same
page. I will try to produce a build tomorrow morning if it seems stable
enough.

Thanks to Mikael, Carrie and David for all their hard work on the UI
overhaul. It is definitely looking good, and is living up to the goals
of simplicity, while also bringing some nice polish to things.
