Save the date!

The Responsible Data
Forum<https://www.theengineroom.org/wp-content/plugins/civicrm/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=187&qid=321>
will
kick off on March 6th in San Francisco - and you're invited.

The Forum is a series of collaborative events being convened in the first
half of 2014. It's an effort to develop useful tools and strategies for
dealing with the ethical, security and privacy challenges facing
data-driven advocacy.

We will be holding the one day event immediately following
RightsCon<https://www.theengineroom.org/wp-content/plugins/civicrm/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=188&qid=321>.
We'll be using the day to identify issues and lay the groundwork for
additional activities, leading up to a final resource-building sprint in
late spring. It will be a unique opportunity to join talented and
impassioned people collaborating across a variety of sectors, to identify
challenges, strategies, and set the course for how we meet responsible data
challenges.

Get in touch if you'd like to be involved.

We'll be opening registration in January.

Happy holidays,

The engine room team

*The engine room uses research and networks to close gaps between
advocates, strategies, resources and technology. We do this through
partnerships with local advocacy initiatives that try and connect them with
existing resources and lots of investigations into what's working for who,
where and why. Follow @engnroom
