Positives:
- echoes Apple's new Watch naming
- easy to grok, cute
Ha, didn't even think of that Apple echos. Perhaps it was
subliminal!
- highlights the camera, not the meta data part (which, in
various incarnations of the app, is downplayed)
- I prefer "Camera Verified"
Yes, I think it sounds more dignified.
Negatives:
- I've always liked InformaCam, even if I didn't like putting
too much emphasis on the metadata (in terms of what the user
actually thinks about when using the app).
- Isn't "InformaCam" our BRAND?!
The project is still InformaCam, but this name is meant for the
app itself.
The real downside of it is that it sounds like "Informant"
which doesn't have a positive context. The other reason I used
the Camera✓ name, is that the app shows up right next to the
default Camera app on the device.
- Maybe would should follow the hip-hop milieu and call it
"CameraVerified feat. InformaCam"?
Yes!

Camera✓ is the fun new name for InformaCam (just go with me

Build 0.1.51 now available:

- use correct camera launch intents to allow for multishot
mode
- more improvements to import speed and efficiency
- cleaner thumbnail and export asset naming to avoid hash
named folders
in gallery
- the app is now called Camera✓ as in “Camera Check!” or
“Camera
Verified”
@Martin you may want to try from a fresh start to see how
clean the
/sdcard/InformaCam folder is now. It does not use
subfolders, and uses a
clean simple naming scheme. This means in the Gallery you
should only
see an InformaCam folder and no thumbnails, etc.
