Question: How are thumbnails being generated for the gallery
if...you're no longer generating them (the implication of the
loading-full-bitmap section of your note)?



We are generating the thumbnails, but instead of loading the
full bitmap into memory, then downsizing it, I am using the
feature that allows Android to load scaled down images directly
from the source bitmap

I think this was the intention all along, but there were a few
small bugs/typos that caused the full bitmap to load.
