I will be running Fellows Hour this next Tuesday, in a last minute
substitution for my planned one at the end of the month. In the spirit of
improv, I've come up with a new fun format: Mock Trial! I know this might
be dangerous for a lay person to attempt in such a prestigious legal
context, but hey, I've watched a few episodes of the "Good Wife", so why
not?

I'm working on the case outline, but it will involve a murder and an Apple
Watch... "If the watch doesn't fit, you must acquit!". We will spend the
first hour prepping for the various roles, and the second hour in a very
rapid trial.

The session builds on the work I have been doing with my team at the
Guardian Project in collaboration with WITNESS on using smartphones and
sensor data as a tool for the defense of human rights through the use of
verified media evidence in prosecution. We are contemplating linking in
wearable inputs into our sensor pipeline, and so this is a timely topic to
explore.

See you in court on Tuesday!
