*Good Morning from Occupy Boston! *

*Fact of the Day. *In 2010, as most American's saw their incomes continue to
 decline and poverty
increase<http://money.cnn.com/2011/09/13/news/economy/poverty_rate_income/index.htm>and
with 22% of children (or 1 in 5) now living below the poverty line,
CEO
pay skyrocketed
40%<http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2011/dec/14/executive-pay-increase-america-ceos>
.

*News from Occupy Boston. *Come show your solidarity with Occupy
Boston protesters
who were arrested<http://www.occupyboston.org/2011/12/15/occupy-boston-victims-october-11-2011-police-raid-mass-arrest-court-fight-criminal-charges-trespassing-unlawful-assembly/>
on October 11th. They will be having a press conference at 8:15am today at
24 New Chardon Street Court House. The preliminary hearing will begin at
9:00am and we would like as many occupiers and supporters there as possible.

*Occupy America:* New polling data from the Pew Research Center shows that
a stunning 77% of Americans
agree<http://www.people-press.org/2011/12/15/section-2-occupy-wall-street-and-inequality/>
that
there is too much power in the hands of a few rich people and corporations.
Let's give them something to be hopeful about.

 ***Friday, December 16th 2011*

*“And this I believe: that the free, exploring mind of the individual human
is the most valuable thing in the world. And this I would fight for: the
freedom of the mind to take any direction it wishes, undirected. And this I
must fight against: any idea, religion, or government which limits or
destroys the individual. This is what I am and what I am about.”** – East
of Eden <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_of_Eden_%28novel%29>, John
Steinbeck*
