[Service-advisories] chavez instability

We had an extended period of downtime for chavez late last night -
between about 2:30 am and 7:30 am America/New_York time.

We suspect this downtime was caused by excessive disk usage during our
late night maintenance tasks. We are taking steps to reduce the impact
of that activity to avoid this problem in the future.

We've also re-booted chavez with twice the available memory.
