Also, if any of you are working on Mac OS X 10.6/Intel x86_64 and want  
to work with gstreamer, ffmpeg, etc, I highly recommend Fink.  Shawn  
was having troubles with MacPorts because it doesn't built gstreamer  
with all the containers and codecs (no oggdemux!) To save the days of  
build time, you can download this install (its quite complete, so it  
uncompresses to 5.3gigs)

Just untar-bz it in your /
