Hi all,

Here's some interesting data from PHR on connection speeds in the DRC.

 Hi Bryan,

We were about to order a Samsung Galaxy S3 and just noticed that you are
operating InformaCam on an Android 4.2 or higher (based on your e-mail
below). You say that InformaCam will run on an earlier version of Android
but that it’s not really stable. Do you know whether the version that will
be offered to the public will be more stable for previous Andorid phones or
whether you think we should go with a phone that will support Android 4.2
or higher?

Also, we just received some data from the DRC of how fast/slow their WiFi
connection is and were worried about the time it would take to upload
photos in the Congo. Currently, one of our consultants was able to do some
testing of the internet connection in the field and was able to come up
with the following:

Do you think that InformaCam will be able to run on a connection this
slow? How long would it take to upload a high enough resolution photo
based on the data above? Our IT manager, Vladimir Florentino, said that if
it would be easier, he would be able to talk through some of these points
with you tomorrow morning. Please let me know if that would be better than
e-mail.

Many thanks,

Sucharita
